Differences in the materials are not always obvious, for example; Green Wood, (Not dried) is a fraction of the cost of kiln dried wood. There is very little difference in the way it looks. The difference is noticed a few months later when the green wood dries out and the house starts to creak as the wood shifts. At MCL Construction Ltd. we only use kiln dried wood in our renovations.
